The MAX Roundtable airs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each weekday and is hosted by Doug Amos. Doug conducts in-depth interviews, enjoys spirited discussion and debate on the sports topics of the day, all the while staying invested in the River Region community. Giving back to the community is one of the main reasons many local businesses choose to partner with the show in their advertising efforts. The show airs on ESPN The Ticket in the River Region (107.5FM/1210AM) and ESPN1067 in Auburn/Opelika.

Pigg Enterprises Scoreboard Show

Football Fridays, 9 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Doug Amos hosts this two-hour high school football scoreboard show each Friday night during the season. The show airs from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., with Doug getting game reports from around the River Region and beyond from coaches and fans. Doug is joined for the 2024 season by Jake Farmer. They will take phone calls and update listeners on all the scores. Many of the scoreboard broadcasts are LIVE from selected high school games.

About Doug Amos

Doug Amos has worked in sports media in the River Region for 40 years, having covered the Southeastern Conference for The Montgomery Advertiser for eight years before beginning his broadcasting career. He has hosted a sports radio show in the area since 1993, and is a two-time recipient of the Associated Press Excellence in Broadcasting Award. He currently hosts The MAX Round Table on ESPN The Ticket in the River Region and ESPN1067 in Auburn/Opelika. His daily show, which airs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., is one of the most streamed shows in Alabama. He also hosts the Pigg Enterprises Scoreboard Show on Friday nights during football season and kicked off the Chappy’s Deli Football Saturday program, which began in 2023. He serves as the producer/host of a pair of during-the-week football programs – Hawk Talk for Huntingdon head coach Mike Turk and Patriot Talk with Pike Road head coach Granger Shook. All of his radio entities now funnel through his company – Roundtable Broadcasting – which he founded in the summer of 2023. Doug hosted an early-morning television show for the River Region’s FOX affiliate before retiring from that venture in July of 2023. He also has 25 years of experience providing play-by-play coverage of college football and basketball games at Troy University and Faulkner University on both television and radio. He was inducted into the Faulkner Sports Hall of Fame in the Fall of 2022. Doug has also served as a fill-in play-by-play broadcaster for the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. He is an active member of the Football Writers Association of America, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Doug has extensive experience as an emcee, having held key speaking roles in the annual Gridiron Kickoff, which has hosted such college football names as Rece Davis, Dabo Swinney, Gene Stallings, Bobby Bowden, Mark Richt, Danny Weurffel and Charlie Ward. Doug hosts the State Games of Alabama opening ceremonies, broadcast live each year on state-wide television. He also hosts many fundraising events around the River Region, as well as multiple award ceremonies. He has also been a popular speaker at civic club and school functions. Recently Doug attended his 35th Southeastern Conference Media Days in Dallas, Texas, and hosted an event featuring college football hall-of-famer David Pollack, and Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl.
